On our way home!
We have arrived at Grenoble airport and are all about to check in our bags ready for our homeward flight.

Our last night
Thea has had a lovely birthday today! Her friends surprised her with presents at 7am this morning - very thoughtful of them. All of the children sang 'Happy Birthday' to her during our evening dinner and were more than happy to help her eat her huge birthday cake! Our talent show followed dinner, with some fantastic acts! We had singers, actors, impressionists, dancers and gymnasts performing. The overall winners were Summer and Jess (from Avalon) with their moonlit synchronised gymnastics routine! Well done to all of the acts for their brilliant efforts!
Bowling!
We took a short bus journey to the local village so the children could have a go at bowling this afternoon. Scarlett was the strike queen in her game, closely followed by Charlotte! The girls are beginning to pack their suitcases now before our final dinner in the hotel. The talent show will follow dinner...so keep your eyes peeled for photos!
Last Days Skiing!
Well that's it - we have finished our skiing and are all safely down in one piece! The girls have been brilliant and are all very proud of what they've achieved throughout the week.
Conditions were poor today but we enjoyed a lovely long hot chocolate stop in a mountain cafe.

Snowtucker trial!
Tonight was the night the girls had been dreading - snails and frogs legs! Out came the platters piled high, and the children scrunched up their faces in fear! Most of the girls tried the tinest bite, some disgusted, while others were pleasantly surprised! Jemima went back for seconds on the snails, while most agreed the frogs legs tasted like chicken! Well done for everybody's efforts tonight! I'm sure the producers of 'I'm a celebrity...' will be calling to sign you up as soon as this is posted!
D.I.S.C.O
We have just got back to the hotel after a brilliant time dancing in the local nightclub. The venue opened especially for our group so we had the whole place to ourselves. Olivia H, Grace B and the Avalon boys had some particularly impressive dance moves, while the year 5's were in sync with their routine to 'uptown funk'. The girls went crazy when a song from 'dance moms' came on - which made us teachers feel very old! They did play Spice Girls however, so I (Miss Ley) was happy!
A couple of late photos from yesterday
I took my posh camera out yesterday but it's taking a little time to transfer the fabulous pictures onto the blog due to technical difficulties!!
